Energy Infrastructure / Pipeline Professional Summary The Field Office Clerk provides essential administrative and operational support for ongoing pipeline construction and maintenance projects out of the Cheshire, CT field office. Serving as a central point for daily site operations, this role ensures field reports, project documentation, vendor invoicing, and team logistics are executed with precision and efficiency to support project milestones. Core Responsibilities Execute accurate data entry, verification, and maintenance for daily field reports, timekeeping records, contractor logs, and critical project documentation. Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, material receipts, and expense reports in compliance with project budget controls and financial procedures. Oversee daily administrative operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, document archiving, and primary vendor inquiries. Coordinate meeting schedules, assist with contractor and visitor site access protocols, and deliver comprehensive administrative support to field management. Maintain organized safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance records in alignment with corporate policies and industry standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent credential. 2+ years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across field personnel, management, and external vendors. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications Prior administrative experience within the pipeline, energy, industrial, or construction sectors. Hands-on experience utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP) or specialized project tracking software.
