Job Position:
Administrative Assistant Location:
Greenwich, CT Salary:
$55,000 - $60,000
Job Title:
Administrative Assistant Hours Per Week:
Full-time (35-40 hours). Monday - Friday. 8:30am - 4:30pm. Occasional evenings for special events.
Location of Work:
As the office is getting an addition and renovation, employees will be working hybrid until November, then in-person after.
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office. Adobe. Zoom. Experience using BoardEffect, Paycom and Donor Perfect preferred (though not required)
Other Skills:
A prestigious, well-known non-profit is seeking an enthusiastic administrative assistant to join their team. Reporting to the President and CEO, the administrative assistant will provide support to an executive team including the CEO, Chief Advancement Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Center for Equity and Justice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer phones and greet visitors Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings Collate and distribute mail Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence Write and edit documents Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical Manage and reconcile spending reports Help organize employee events and trainings Interact with Board of Directors and Board Committees Take minutes at meetings Set up and execute both virtual and in-person meetings and webinars Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees through Paycom Manage performance evaluation for staff in Paycom
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 2 years professional experience in an office setting Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and Zoom required. Experience using BoardEffect, Paycom and Donor Perfect preferred Ability to work quickly and accurately on a variety of projects Excellent professionalism and discretion when dealing with various constituencies and managing confidential HR files IND1
