Description About the Role Robert Half is seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity with a growing financial services company in Meriden, Connecticut. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and enjoys providing critical support to a busy team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating office activities, managing communications, and assisting with day-to-day administrative operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional client service. Responsibilities

+ Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner

+ Greet clients and visitors and maintain a welcoming office environment

+ Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls

+ Manage calendars and coordinate team schedules

+ Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents

+ Maintain electronic and physical filing systems

+ Process incoming and outgoing mail and email communications

+ Assist with data entry, record maintenance, and document management

+ Order office supplies and coordinate vendor services as needed

+ Support management and staff with special projects and administrative tasks Requirements Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent required + 2+ years of administrative support experience

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

+ High level of professionalism and attention to detail

+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications

+ Prior experience in a financial services, banking, insurance, or professional services environment

+ Experience managing calendars and scheduling for multiple team members

+ Familiarity with CRM or document management systems Compensation & Schedule

+ Competitive hourly pay based on experience

+ Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
