This vital role offers the opportunity to support daily office operations, streamline administrative processes, and enhance overall office efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage scheduling and correspondence, and assist with various clerical and office management tasks to ensure a smooth-running environment. This paid position provides a chance to develop your administrative expertise while contributing to a professional and energetic workplace. Duties
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and mail, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Maintain confidential records and assist with data entry and file organization.
  • Assist with financial recordkeeping, including processing payments to vendors and therapists, and maintaining expense documentation.
  • Help maintain and update the LCL-CT website using WordPress and other communication platforms.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules and assist with onboarding and training.
  • Prepare promotional and educational materials for outreach and presentations.
  • Ensure the physical office is organized, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Skills Have prior experience in administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit, legal, or healthcare setting. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Possess strong written and verbal communication abilities. Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new platforms (e.g., WordPress, Smartsheet). Exhibit discretion and a commitment to confidentiality in all interactions. Be able to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
