Job Description

Administrative Assistant Location:
Shelton, CT (On-site)
Compensation:
$50-$60k depending on experience Position Summary Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations and administrative needs of its Shelton, CT office. This role is ideal for a resourceful professional who can manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with employees, vendors, and visitors while helping maintain a productive and well-organized office environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain office common areas, including the kitchen, conference rooms, and supply areas. Monitor and replenish office, kitchen, and workplace supplies as needed. Coordinate with vendors for office services, cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and other facility-related needs. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments, including scanning and distributing documents to appropriate teams. Provide administrative support to departments including Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, and Information Technology. Coordinate client visits, meetings, office events, and volunteer activities. Order office supplies, business cards, and other operational materials. Assist with special projects and other administrative responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Prior administrative, office support, or coordination experience preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs. Professional and polished interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees, leadership, clients, and vendors. Resourceful, proactive, and willing to take on new responsibilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams across multiple locations. Comfortable learning and using new systems, tools, and processes.
