Description:
Temp to Perm Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Salary up to 55K Temp rate is $20-22 Front desk position, answering phones, sorting mail, typing letters, emails, copies, scanning, etc. The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant role serves as the primary face and voice of the organization. This dual-role position combines front-desk hospitality with essential clerical and administrative support across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, tech-savvy professional who can manage shifting priorities while maintaining a warm and polished demeanor.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Reception Visitor Hospitality:
Greet and direct clients, vendors, and guests to the appropriate staff or department. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming reception area.
Communications:
Answer, screen, and route multi-line incoming phone calls. Take accurate messages and manage general office email inquiries.
Security & Logs:
Maintain a digital or physical visitor sign-in log and coordinate visitor badges or building access codes.
Clerical & Data Operations Mail Logistics:
Receive, date-stamp, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Prepare outgoing mail and coordinate courier or shipping services.
Records Management:
Organize physical and electronic filing systems. Perform accurate data entry into databases, spreadsheets, or internal tracking software.
Document Processing:
Draft, proofread, copy, scan, and distribute correspondence, letters, memos, and reports.
Office Coordination Scheduling:
Manage firm-wide calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate internal and external meetings.
Inventory Control:
Monitor, track, and reorder office, kitchen, and printing supplies within established budget limits.
Meeting Support:
Book and prepare conference rooms, verify technology setups, and coordinate catering for corporate events.
Skills & Qualifications Experience & Education Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Technical Skills Software:
High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Systems:
Familiarity with multi-line phone networks and basic digital office equipment (high-volume scanners, copiers, and cloud storage systems).
Core Competencies Communication:
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Time Management:
Strong ability to multitask, organize complex workflows, and handle time-sensitive projects independently.
Discretion:
