Job Description

Partners Plus has been keeping Delaware businesses running since 1991. Our clients are attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, and real estate firms — people who need their technology to just work, and who notice when the person answering the phone is sharp and pleasant. We're hiring an Administrative Assistant to share that front line with our current admin. This is an administrative job first. But we're an IT company that uses AI seriously in our own work, and the person in this seat gets pulled into that — real projects, not busywork. What you'll do Answer client calls and emails; schedule appointments Process quotes, orders, timesheets, and billing Keep records clean and current in Excel and our internal systems Coordinate with vendors Keep the office stocked and running The AI side of the job Our founder has written four books, most recently The 24/7 Standard , and we're building AI-assisted automation into how the whole company operates. Depending on your interest and how quickly you pick things up, you may help with: Research, formatting, and production work on book and marketing projects Using AI tools to draft, organize, and clean up content Documenting our internal processes so they can be automated Testing automations before we roll them out You don't need any AI experience to apply. You do need to be genuinely curious about it, because you'll be learning tools that most people your age won't touch until years into their career. The schedule We cover 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. You and our other admin split that coverage and coordinate directly between yourselves — which means real flexibility around class schedules, finals, and life, without filing a request every time something comes up. It also means the coverage has to hold. Your counterpart is depending on you to be there when you said you would, and to speak up early when you can't. If you have commitments that make consistent weekday hours difficult, this isn't the right fit — and that's okay. Who does well here Detail-oriented. Billing and quotes are where small mistakes turn into client conversations. Quick to learn. We'll walk you through a process once, then it's yours. The people who thrive here take notes and don't need the same thing explained three times. Self-starting. When things are quiet, you find the next thing instead of waiting to be handed it. Warm on the phone. Our clients are often stressed when they call. You're the first voice they hear. That's a core part of this job, not a bonus. Where this can go Some of our admins have no interest in becoming technicians. That's completely fine — this role stands on its own.
For those who are interested:
we reimburse the cost of your CompTIA exams when you pass them. No repayment owed if you later move on. People who've taken this path have moved into full-time IT support roles in about a year, paced by their certifications. We'd rather tell you that plainly than promise a career change we can't deliver. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable in Excel — clean data entry, sorting, filtering, basic formulas. Pivot tables not required. Clear, professional communication by phone and in writing Reliable transportation to our New Castle office (fully onsite) Background check and signed confidentiality agreement — required, because we work inside our clients' legal, accounting, and financial systems Customer service experience is a plus. So is hands-on interest in technology or AI, though neither is required. This role works well for someone balancing coursework, or someone recently out of school looking for a first professional position. How to apply We read every application, and we're looking for people who read carefully too. Begin your message with the word
