Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Youth and Families Office Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the City of Wilmington's Youth and Families Office. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to community programs, assist with office operations, and provide exceptional customer service. Duties Serve as the first point of contact for Division Manager, greeting and directing inquiries with professionalism and warmth Manage multi-line phone systems, answer calls promptly, and route messages accurately Maintain organized filing systems, including data entry, document proofreading, and record keeping Assist with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings for office staff Support office management tasks such as inventory tracking, supply ordering, and basic bookkeeping Provide customer support by responding to inquiries pertaining to Youth and Families via phone or email, ensuring positive interactions Perform clerical duties pertaining to Youth and Families including copying, scanning, faxing documents, and maintaining accurate records in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
