Job Description

The North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency is seeking to hire a full-time CRA Front Desk Clerk to provide support to serve as the first line of contact to the public while performing assigned administrative and technical functions for the office. Serves as frontline staff for all CRA inquiries, by providing general information to the general public, public officials, City employees, or other individuals requesting assistance or public information, in both verbal and written format; Conducts initial intake and review of applications for the different grant programs offered by the CRA; Performs several administrative duties for the CRA such as filing and preparing records; Sorts and distributes incoming mail and receives deliveries; Perform other administrative and technical duties as directed by senior staff and the Executive Director. High School Diploma or GED Valid Florida Driver's License. Excellent customer service skills. Great communication skills in both verbal and written format with strong phone presence and customer service skillsets. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate with diverse groups. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to work under minimal supervision while still delivering on assigned tasks. Bilingual preferred
