Permitting Coordinator Platinum Signs and Design - 2.0 Casselberry, FL Job Details Part-time From $18 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Project coordination Driver's License Attention to detail Full Job Description ​Job Summary We are a local commercial sign manufacturing and installation company seeking an organized and reliable Part-Time Office Assistant. This position primarily will manage our sign permitting applications and workflow, while providing general office administrative support. Prior experience submitting permit applications and navigating building departments is required.
Key Responsibilities Permit Coordination:
Complete and submit sign permit applications to local building and zoning offices (Casselberry, Seminole County, Orange County, etc.).
Portal Submission:
Upload engineering files, site plans, and applications to municipal online portals.
Status Tracking:
Monitor permit pipelines daily and contact reviewers to resolve comments, omissions, or rejections.
Runner Tasks:
Drive to nearby municipal offices for document drop-offs, notarizations, or picking up approved permit placards.
Office Support:
Manage incoming calls, maintain physical and digital project folders, and perform light data entry.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience with building or sign permitting in Florida (Required).
Schedule Alignment:
Must be available to work in the office Monday through Friday.
Local Knowledge:
Familiarity with local municipal land development codes, setbacks, and zoning requirements is highly preferred.
Tech Savvy:
Proficient with municipal online permitting software, scanning tools, and basic office applications.
Organization:
High attention to detail to ensure permit packages are complete and accurate before submission.
Transportation:
Valid Florida Driver's License.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per week
