In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of machinery and systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, with a passion for keeping production running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Repair or replace faulty components using welding techniques such as stick welding and other fabrication methods. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to diagnose electrical system faults and implement effective repairs. Conduct electrical diagnostics on low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Support field service operations by performing equipment repairs on-site at various locations within the facility or customer sites. Assist in the installation of new machinery or upgrades, including programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting control systems. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operation such as scissor lifts. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and clients about repair status and technical issues. Requirements Proven experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility environment with a focus on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and industrial mechanics. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics including reading schematics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and performing electrical maintenance using tools like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation. Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding; ability to fabricate or repair metal components as needed. Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows. Ability to read engineering schematics and blueprints accurately for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage control circuits, high voltage safety procedures, and electrical blueprint reading. Knowledge of field service operations including equipment repair at customer sites or remote locations. Excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions efficiently. Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Valid certifications or licenses related to industrial electrician work or HVAC/R are preferred but not mandatory.
