DeBary, Longwood & Lake Mary, FL Immediate Opening Florida Cardiology is seeking a friendly, energetic, and patient-focused Medical Assistant / Front Office Coordinator to join our growing team in Debary, Longwood and Lake Mary locations. We are looking for someone with a bubbly personality, positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced cardiology environment. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, compassionate, and able to create a welcoming experience for patients while supporting both clinical and front office operations. Responsibilities Front Office Duties Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling needs Verify insurance and demographic information Schedule appointments and maintain provider schedules Collect co-pays and process patient paperwork Maintain accurate patient records within EMR system Provide excellent customer service and patient support Medical Assistant Duties Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain vital signs Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers with patient care and clinical documentation Perform EKGs and other clinical duties as assigned Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards Qualifications Medical Assistant experience preferred Front office or medical receptionist experience preferred Cardiology experience is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Strong communication and multitasking skills Positive, upbeat, and team-oriented attitude Professional appearance and strong work ethic Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For ✨ A bubbly and welcoming personality ✨ Strong attention to detail ✨ Compassionate patient care approach ✨ Dependability and professionalism ✨ Team player mentality ✨ Excellent communication skills
