Three years of secretarial or related word processing experience are required. Preferences Experience performing administrative or clerical support functions in a professional office environment is preferred. Experience working with confidential or sensitive records is preferred. Recruitment Notes This position provides advanced secretarial and administrative support to the Division Chief within the Division of Professional Standards (DPS) of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. The role involves performing a range of administrative functions in a confidential work environment. Responsibilities include managing and processing complaint case files; preparing correspondence, reports, and memoranda; and coordinating hearings, mediations, and other proceedings with internal and external stakeholders, including the County Attorney's Office and Human Resources. Additional duties include supporting public records requests, maintaining records in accordance with retention requirements, processing travel and financial documentation, and coordinating calendars and meeting schedules. The position supports division operations by organizing information, tracking assignments, and facilitating communication in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
