Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join our dental team. As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting the daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate has dental office experience, strong administrative skills, and confidence in patient communication and treatment coordination. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional, and welcoming demeanor Answer incoming phone calls and route them appropriately Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar Verify insurance information and collect required patient documentation Enter and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix Assist with administrative duties including filing, faxing, and scanning Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Respond to patient questions and provide clear, accurate information about services Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow Educate patients and present treatment recommendations in a clear and compassionate manner Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in a dental office or similar customer service role preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures strongly preferred Experience with Dentrix or other dental software a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and empathetic in fast-paced or stressful situations Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment Additional Information This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
