Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented dental front office assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing essential administrative tasks. Your energy and organizational skills will help streamline daily operations, facilitate smooth patient flow, and uphold the highest standards of patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional dental care and fostering positive patient experiences. Our office is private-owned.
DUTIES:
Verifying insurance coverage and updating patient records Schedule appointments efficiently using our dental practice management software, Dentrix coordinating multiple providers and treatment plans Verify insurance benefits, process claims, handle billing inquiries with accuracy and professionalism Manage phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, answer multi-line calls promptly, and direct inquiries appropriately Assist with insurance pre-authorizations and collection of copays and outstanding balances while adhering to HIPAA regulations
SKILLS:
Proven experience in dental office front desk support with knowledge of dental terminology Proficiency in Dentrix Excellent computer skills and typing accuracy Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance Ability to perform insurance verification, billing, collections and documentation review accurately Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Join us in creating a positive environment where patients feel cared for from their first visit.
