In this role, the PACE Care Team Assistant handles a variety of administrative duties to ensure accurate record keeping, comply with participant capacity for day center, adequate member flow through the clinic and support for some related marketing activities. Manages the PACE Center reception desk/Clinic reception desk. Supports administrative, clinical and day center staff with clerical duties such as faxing, scheduling, ordering supplies, etc. What is PACE? What You'll Need Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 7+ years in administrative, writing, office experience. PACE knowledge and experience a plus.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years in a medical setting (hospital, clinic, medical office, nursing home, etc.) is preferred. Has worked with the elderly and/or chronically ill. Experience managing patient schedules and a busy front desk or office environment. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Access. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare billing or claims. Data entry and database management using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems or equivalent systems.
