Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Administrative Assistant to support a scanning and digital filing project within the Production Control department. This position will organize, scan, index, and electronically file production-related documents to ensure records are accurate, complete, and easy to retrieve. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with computers and office equipment, and able to handle confidential or sensitive business records with discretion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sort, organize, and prepare paper documents for scanning. Scan production and administrative records using designated equipment and software. Name, index, and save electronic files according to established filing conventions. Verify scanned documents for accuracy, readability, completeness, and correct orientation. Organize electronic files in the appropriate folders and document-management systems. Identify duplicate, missing, damaged, or incorrectly filed records and report discrepancies. Maintain accurate tracking logs and provide updates on project progress. Handle company and production records in accordance with confidentiality and document-control requirements. Safeguard original documents during the scanning and filing process. Provide general administrative support to the Production Control team as needed. Follow all company safety, quality, security, and records-retention procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative, clerical, data-entry, scanning, or records-management experience preferred. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. Comfortable using scanners, copiers, computers, and electronic filing systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality. Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions. Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
