What You'll Do As a Hospital Services Coordinator 1, you will directly contribute to LifeLink's life-saving mission. Coordinates with Hospital Services Manager and Director to identify and maintain effective communication within department. Responsible for receiving and processing allograft orders as well as maintaining allograft inventory room.
Key Responsibilities:
Receives and processes telephone/fax/email orders for allografts. Prepares invoices and consignment orders for accounts. Pulls, Q.C.s and packs shipments. Makes courtesy telephone calls to hospitals ensuring deliveries and customer satisfaction. Assists in the labeling and stocking of all allografts as they are released for clinical use. Responsible for making supplies for allograft placements. Assists in the shipping of tissue when necessary. Coordinates local pick-up and delivery for courier shipments. Assigns return authorization numbers for hospitals and distributors. Position requires being on call 24/7 for hospital services as needed. Other duties as required. Who You Are Passionate about helping others and making a difference Aligned with LifeLink's core values of Compassion, Excellence, Legacy, People, and Quality Work requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Work requires a typing ability of at least fifty words per minute. Work requires the interpersonal ability to interact with management, staff, and outside contacts. Work requires strong attention to detail and accuracy. Work requires a minimum of one-year relevant job experience. Work requires the ability to work under some stress in order to meet commitments and/or deadlines. Work requires adherence to a dress code: scrubs. Work requires thorough knowledge of basic word processing fundamentals. Work requires the ability to stand for long periods of time. Work requires the ability to lift and carry boxes and supplies up to 70 lbs. Work requires a proven attendance and punctuality record. A collaborator who thrives in a mission-first environment. Working Conditions Pleasant and comfortable work environment. Routinely works customary hours, although may require extended working hours to include weekends if necessary. Workstation equipped with the necessary tools needed to perform the various functions of this position will be provided.
