Front Desk Office Assistant Overview The Front Desk Office Assistant is an important job in our company. In addition to being the first person most of our clients will meet or talk with, it is most important to represent the company in a professional, knowledgeable and friendly manner. The person in this job must be organized, thorough, and detail orientated, as well as be able to multi-task. Signing clients up for classes, gathering correct information, and inputting data are a big part of the job. Balancing the reception portion, the telephones, and getting other tasks completed often takes some finesse. Requirements Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information discreetly and responsibly. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. Proven experience in an office atmosphere is preferred but may not be necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with diverse clients Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to manage multiple tasks effectively Ability to remain energetic, approachable, and professional in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in basic office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), plus Adobe Acrobat. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support team needs as they arise A High School Diploma or GED is the minimum requirement for performing this job.
