Shift Guard Shack:
Tuesday-Saturday, 6:45am-3:15pm; $17/hour 2ndShift Office Clerk:
Sunday-Thursday, 2:45pm-11:15pm, $17.50/hour 2ndShift Guard Shack:

Duties and Responsibilities. Proof-read, correct and maintain all BOL records for inbound trailers. BOLs are used to make IDOCs, the documents our dock teams use to unload inbound trailers. Clerks are to make sure that the IDOC numbers match the BOLs and make corrections if they do not. Create Outbound Documents and maintain record. Collect all needed BOLs for the Outbound Load. Send communication to carriers regarding relevant load information, for example Loads containing Hazardous Materials (Hazmat). Receive Incoming Shipments Office clerks are the first point of contact for delivery drivers bringing supplies to our facility. Clerks are to initiate communication to ensure timely deliveries. Customer Service Office Clerks assist Outbound Drivers with all inquiries. Office Teams are to offer prompt, professional and exceptional customer service at all times. Office /Gate Clerk:
Skills and Qualifications. Communication Listening to others and being able to listen is essential for customer service. This is essential to assess how to proceed for any given situation and ensures that there is no miscommunication. Organization Keeping all BOLs / records and making sure they are properly filed, recorded and maintained is essential to making sure we are able to provide assistance when requested of us. Problem Solving Staying calm through a process you are unfamiliar with will ensure that the Operation will be able to stay organized while assisting. Physical Requirements The job may require extended hours sitting at a desk using computers, landline telephones and managing paperwork. Job also requires walking, sometimes up to 10,000 steps per day as we have to check dock doors throughout the shift and retrieve BOLs from the guard shack. Multi-tasking Demands may come in from multiple sources at the same time. It is critical during these moments to stay organized & to properly prioritize these demands. Communication is critical during these times. PC Competency All records are tracked electronically. Clerk must be able to operate multi-line telephones, copy machines, scanners, email and multiple relevant computer programs. Must me comfortable with technology.Job Type:
