Propane Administrator / Job Description Holston Gases Inc ., a leading distributor of industrial, medical, & specialty gases & welding supplies & equipment, is seeking motivated individual to join our Dalton, GA team. Propane Administrator Job Summary The Propane Administrator manages the administrative and operational tasks related to propane distribution and sales within the company. This role involves tasks such as customer service, inventory management, scheduling, record-keeping, invoicing, payment processing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities •
Customer Service:
o Providing excellent service to clients by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. •
Order Processing & Scheduling:
o Managing the processing of propane orders and coordinating delivery schedules, often involving communication with drivers and service technicians. o Handle customer invoicing and process billing in a timely manner. o Monitor receivables and manage the collections process for overdue accounts. o Collaborate internally to address service or billing discrepancies. •
Inventory Management:
o Maintaining accurate records of propane inventory levels, tracking stock, and collaborating with management to avoid shortages. •
Record Keeping:
o Maintaining detailed records of sales, inventory, customer information, and other relevant data for reporting and compliance purposes. •
Compliance & Safety:
o Ensuring adherence to relevant industry regulations and safety guidelines related to propane handling, storage, and distribution. •
Administrative Support:
o Providing general administrative support to the team, including tasks like data entry, document preparation, and communication management. •
Coordination:
o Working closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow. •
Reporting:
o Preparing reports for management on various aspects of propane operations, such as sales, inventory, and compliance. •
Process Improvement:
o Identifying areas for process improvement and contributing to the development of new procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Other Duties as

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in use of email, internet and excel Ability to read and comprehend text Knowledge of relevant software application including MS Office Accurate keyboard skills Must have basic computer experience Knowledge of administrative procedures Good numeracy skills Good communication skills - verbal and written Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines Ability to lift 30 lbs. required Ability to work in standing position Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
