Job Description

Administrative Assistant Armor Health | DeKalb County Jail | Decatur, GA Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm At Armor Health, we're raising the standard of correctional healthcare by partnering with exceptional organizations to improve health outcomes and positively impact the lives of those we serve. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our healthcare team at DeKalb County Jail. This is more than a traditional administrative role. We're looking for someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of getting things done. What You'll Do Oversee daily administrative operations, including purchase requisitions, time and attendance, personnel records, and office processes Support site leadership with administrative needs, reporting, scheduling, meetings, and follow-up Develop and maintain processes that promote an organized and efficient office Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents, including confidential materials Serve as a key administrative contact for employees, leaders, external organizations, and agencies Maintain accurate records and ensure administrative tasks are completed timely and accurately Handle sensitive employee and operational information with professionalism and discretion Identify issues, take initiative, and follow through to resolution What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of progressive administrative or office management experience Healthcare or correctional experience preferred Experience supporting leaders, managing multiple priorities, and working independently Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change Ability to pass a Level 2 pre-employment clearance , including background check and drug screen
