Job description Family Health Clinic is hiring a Front Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative front desk operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, professional, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, and work diligently under pressure. This person will need to be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion. Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors to the medical office. Answer and transfer phone calls. Schedule appointments. Assist patients with insurance and billing questions. Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information. Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition. Perform additional duties as assigned Skills Experience with insurance billing and an electronic medical record system preferred. Organizational and time management skills Written and verbal communication skills Incoming/Outgoing phone call management skills Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information Hands on experience with medical software and MS Office Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required.
