Aiea, HI › Business Office Assistant - Neurol… Business Office Assistant - Neurology Aiea, HI With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. At Pali Momi the Neurology department is an outpatient ambulatory clinic specializing in sensory and motor functions and diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. The Neurology team functions as a specialty area in conjunction with Primary Care Providers to provide complete neurological care for the convenience of our West O'ahu families. If you are detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills, you form part of the team that is responsible for the day-to-day operation and efficiency of the Neurology department. As the Business Office Assistant, you will support the general operations, including functions related to patient scheduling, registration, charge capture, and data entry. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere and shares our commitment to creating a healthier Hawai'i.

Administrative Minimum Qualifications:
High School or equivalent. One (1) year of general clerical or secretarial experience in position with public contact.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Business, Medical technology, or related field. Medical Terminology course. One (1) year of experience in a physician's office or outpatient clinic setting.
