Job Description
Payment Processing Clerk Job Summary:
This role is primarily responsible for managing incoming department mail and processing customer payments efficiently and accurately, in alignment with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking, cashiering, or payment and billing operations, along with a strong work ethic, reliability, and keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and apply customer payments received via mail and drop box Reconcile payments, resolve discrepancies, and prepare daily cash reports Handle general ledger disbursements and employee payment requests Answer customer inquiries and update account records Support billing operations for multiple islands using online systems Perform general office duties including mail sorting, filing, and phone support
Qualifications:
3-5 years of general office and clerical experience, preferably in payment processing or billing Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic PC functions 10-key proficiency; familiarity with SAP or similar systems a plus Completion of accounting coursework or equivalent work experience Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills Ability to lift and handle items up to 20 lbs Effective communication skills and a collaborative work style.

Pay Rate:
~$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Full-Time)

Initial assignment: one year from start date.
