Administrative Assistant for Marriage and Family Therapy Mount Mercy University - 3.3 Cedar Rapids, IA Job Details Part-time 3 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Clinical confidentiality policies Full Job Description Part-Time Administrative Assistant Mount Mercy University is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support the Graduate Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Program and Olson MFT Clinic. This position serves as a primary point of contact for clients, students, faculty, and staff and is responsible for clinic scheduling, client services, billing, records management, data tracking, and general administrative support. The successful candidate will maintain confidentiality, provide excellent customer service, and ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Manage client scheduling, referrals, appointments, and communications. Provide front-office support and maintain a professional clinic environment. Process client payments and assist with billing and account management. Maintain electronic client records and conduct routine audits for compliance. Track documentation and support HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping practices. Maintain databases, prepare reports, and assist with program operations. Support Graduate Center and clinic administrative functions as needed.
Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelor's degree Administrative experience in healthcare, higher education, or a related field Experience with electronic scheduling, records, or database systems HIPAA or healthcare administrative experience
