$15 per hour + paid time off
Position Summary:
Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity is looking for a part-time program administrator for its Helping Hands home repair program. The program associate will assist with program in-take procedures, maintain files, assist with cost tracking, and work with the finance office on project close-out. Key Responsibilities Manage in-take process including working with applicants to ensure all required documents are submitted, completing initial application evaluation, and creating a summary for each file Collaborate with Helping Hands staff to communicate important information to applicants, schedule home evaluations, and receive updated information for each file Maintain the queue of program applicants. Coordinate with Helping Hands staff and Finance Director to complete project close-out Perform other office management tasks including, but not limited to, answering phones, filing, record keeping, and reporting Perform tasks related to office reception including answering phones and queries from the public Complete other duties and responsibilities as needed Skills, Education and Experience Commitment to Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity's mission, vision, and values Must be detail oriented Demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills Dedication to work collaboratively, embrace challenges, and learn new skills as responsibilities evolve Have availability 4-5 days each week Must be proficient in Microsoft suite Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit housing provider.
