Job Description
$2000 Hiring Bonus! The Pride Group is a non-profit organization that assists adults with behavioral/mental health needs. This position will work in our Community Based division in Le Mars, Iowa and requires a highly detail orientated individual. Under the direct supervision of the administrator, this position performs duties such as working with insurance and social security, resident reporting, admission and discharge paperwork, with additional miscellaneous duties as assigned. Dealing with a diverse group of external visitors as well as internal residents of the organization in addition to having independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
Essential Functions:
Basic office duties: answer phones, filing, sort mail, receive visitors, and prepare correspondence as needed. Assist with scheduling interviews and hiring hourly staff Assist with new hires Provide coverage for supported community living staff Admission and discharge paperwork of residents Work with a variety of organizations to necessary items for admissions Maintain and verify all residents insurance Complete insurance applications and renewals Schedule and attend all required meetings Work with not only staff but also residents of facilityCompetencies:
Basic computer knowledge - including word and excel Office Management skills Thoroughness in tasks with strong attention to detail Collaboration Skills Work effectively with other staff to run a professional facility Communication Proficiency Personal honesty and credibility Required Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or GED. 2. Clean driving record 3. Previous office experience 3. Previous cash handling 4. Basic Accounting knowledge 5. Satisfactory pre-employment physical and drug screen 6. Satisfactory pre-employment background check 7. Valid Driver License with clean driving recordJob Type:
