Job Description

NATURE OF POSITION
The Recorder is responsible for assisting with the flow of purchase agreements, deposits and option selections to ensure timely processing from sale to close of escrow. This position will also assist with various administrative tasks. The successful incumbent must represent our company in a professional manner aiming to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
General direction and oversight is provided by the Title Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the Title department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to closings
  • Process and assist with funding files for closing
  • Prepare files for recording
  • Schedule closing and notifies all appropriate parties
  • Perform administrative duties to assist in the title and escrow process
  • Use scanners, electronically transmitted files, and other various forms of office equipment
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested, assigned or needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within a team under minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively work under stressful conditions
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement and to react with discretion under varying conditions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships within various levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to operate a variety of office equipment including, personal computers, multi-line phones, copiers, printers, scanners, and calculators

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
While this position is considered entry-level the right candidate will have an opportunity for advancement. At least one-year experience as an Administrative Assistant is preferred. An offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check

$18.00
