Panhandle Health District (PHD) is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant I to join our Clinical Services team in Hayden, Idaho. The Administrative Assistant (AA1) in the Panhandle Health District's Clinic Services Division plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of health district services. Serving as the primary point of contact for patients and the public, this position manages a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, facilitating communication, coordinating schedules, and providing essential office support to maintain departmental efficiency across several departments.
Qualifications/Proficiencies:
Proficiency in managing computer systems and Microsoft Word/Excel for troubleshooting, document creation, and data tracking. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain policies clearly and work well with staff and patients. Knowledge of handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and HIPAA regulations to maintain data security and confidentiality. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and scheduling software for managing data. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and scheduling. Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing demands and provide solutions in a dynamic healthcare setting. Valid driver's license (Idaho or Washington) or ability to obtain one if relocating.
