The Office of the Registrar provides state-of-the-art service in the areas of registration and student records, and supports academic affairs in a variety of ways, ranging from publication of professional quality Class Schedules and General Catalogs to scheduling classroom space. By providing high-quality service to students, faculty, and staff in a broad range of activities, the Office of the Registrar plays a key role in the everyday life of the University. This position is the first point of contact for current and prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and alumi, assisting with registration and academic record services.
Position Overview:
Assist with administrative tasks including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, maintaining calendars, monitoring office inventory, ordering supplies when necessary and completing various assignments as needed. This position may be the first point of contact for the department, and is tasked with ensuring that information flows accurately, efficiently and effectively while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Duties may include:
Manage records and documents
Perform general administrative support tasks such as proofreading and receiving and distributing mail; may handle cash
Greet visitors, callers and/or email inquiries, determining nature and purpose and directing them to specific destinations/individuals/information
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
Organizing tasks to meet deadlines
Participating in teams to accomplish shared goals
Using computer software and applications for word processing, email, and internet searches
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
