We specialize in Traffic, Transportation and Civil Engineering, and work frequently with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), the Illinois State Toll and Highway Authority (ISHTA), the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), and various counties and municipalities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative / Marketing / Project Documentation Assistant to support our Administrative Manager and Documentation Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to support administrative operations, marketing initiatives, and project documentation activities. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Coordinate general office communications and daily administrative operations Provide support to employees and clients as needed Maintain organized records, files, and documentation systems Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, and other administrative tasks Marketing Support Conduct research into new Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and business opportunities Assist with proposal preparation, including content development and graphics Help create and update company brochures, presentations, and marketing materials Maintain and update company websites and social media platforms Project Documentation Support Assist the Documentation Engineer with construction project documentation Organize, track, and maintain project records, help prepare project reports Support document control processes and ensure accurate filing of project information
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills Tech-savvy with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Associate's degree preferred; administrative experience strongly valued
Salary:
$17 to $25 per hour (based on experience)
