Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized, fast-paced, and solutions-driven Routing Coordinator to manage daily service routing for our fleet. This role is responsible for building and adjusting routes for both day and night operations, ensuring customer service commitments are met while maximizing route efficiency, fuel savings, and technician productivity. This is a key operations role that requires quick thinking, excellent communication skills, strong computer abilities, and the ability to thrive in a busy, multi-person dispatch office. Core Responsibilities Create and manage daily pumping/service routes for: 5 to 6 daytime trucks 2 to 4 nighttime trucks Maintain recurring customer service frequencies and scheduled rotations Resolve timing conflicts, emergency requests, cancellations, and route changes in real time Optimize routes for mileage efficiency, fuel savings, and productivity Coordinate closely with drivers, technicians, management, and customer service staff Perform high-volume data entry, work order updates, and customer account notes Use routing software, GPS systems, spreadsheets, and dispatch tools effectively Assist in improving systems, technology, and routing methods while maintaining proven internal practices Monitor job completion progress and make adjustments throughout the day Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours needs Assist with some nights and weekends as business demands require Qualifications Previous dispatching, routing, logistics, transportation, or service coordination experience in required Strong typing speed and accurate data entry skills required Comfortable using computers, apps, tablets, GPS platforms, and learning new software Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outgoing personality with the ability to work well in a loud, fast-moving office environment Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak workload times Reliable attendance and punctuality required Experience in septic, grease trap, waste hauling, plumbing, trucking, or service industries is a major plus What We Offer Stable full-time position with growth opportunity Competitive compensation based on experience Hands-on operations environment Opportunity to help improve systems and make a direct impact Supportive team atmosphere in a growing company 401K with 5% matching Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Accrued Vacation, Paid Time Off Days, and Sick Days are offered
