ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Job Summary We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. CCSI Case Coordination Unit, LLC is a company that strives to meet the aging populations needs. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our social services staff, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities. Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for answering the telephone, taking messages, distributing to staff and retrieving messages from the answering machine. Responsible for incoming mail, date stamping, distribution, and outgoing mail. Responsible for the scheduling initial home visits. Responsible for the completion of participant monthly calls. Responsible for file maintenance. Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate forms and office supplies. Responsible for the development, maintenance, and distribution of a directory of available senior services. Responsible for assisting staff by typing and/or copying requested materials. Responsible for the maintenance of and request for postage monies. Responsible for oversight of office equipment upkeep and supplies. Assist participants and CCU staff with Medicaid and any other State or Federal benefit forms by coping, faxing or mailing to appropriate agencies. Attends 15 hours of training related to Aging and Disability. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as an administrative assistant Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written, verbal communication & customer service skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Must have high school degree; Associates degree preferred; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus Prefer to have experience working with and passion for the aging adult
Benefits Sick Leave:
(6) days per year earned at the rate of 4 hours per month worked, on the administrative staff anniversary hire date. Earn 3 weeks Paid Time Off each year up until year 6 (May use after 6 months of employment.) Earn 4 weeks vacation each year after 5 years and earn 5 weeks vacation each year after 10 years of employment.
