About the role Assists the Corporate Secretary in performing duties as outlined in the bylaws for the Illinois Agricultural Association (IAA) and affiliated companies. Serves as notary public and as assistant secretary for affiliates, as assigned. How does this role make an impact?
- Assists with preparation of IAA Board and assigned affiliate meetings and materials, including formatting and use of board software/tools (e.g., Diligent, SharePoint, databases), and maintenance of all books and records relating to Board, committees and assigned affiliates.
- Prepares, coordinates and communicates agendas, various meeting materials for the Board/Committee books, minutes and other Board/Committee documents to properly and accurately document the actions of the Board and assigned committees.
- Drafts and/or edits correspondence such as letters, memoranda, reports, company organizational charts and other materials.
- Maintains official corporate and governing documents, as well as electronic and paper files and documents. Manages corporate record retention in the company vault. Do you have what we're looking for? Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
- Notary Public certification required within 90 days.
Base Pay Range:
$89,200- 122,650 The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired.
