In-person About the Position 30 year old male paraplegic living independently in Elmhurst, IL, looking for a reliable, respectful, and organized Personal Assistant to help with day-to-day activities, household tasks, errands, and occasional personal assistance. This position focuses primarily on personal assistance, household support, errands, and helping with tasks that can be difficult to complete independently. I'm looking for someone dependable, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and interested in a long-term position. Responsibilities Home & Household Assistance Laundry, dishes, and light housekeeping Tidying and organizing the home Taking out trash and maintaining a clean environment Unpacking and organizing packages Handling and organizing incoming mail Helping with occasional household tasks Errands & Outings Grocery shopping and other local errands Picking up prescriptions and other items Accompanying me to appointments or outings when needed Occasional trips to restaurants, stores, or other local activities ♿ Personal Assistance Assistance with wheelchair-related routines and positioning Light stretching and mobility routines Assistance with tasks that are difficult to perform independently Helping with occasional lifting, reaching, or other light physical tasks Providing general assistance with daily routines Training will be provided for any tasks specific to my needs.
