An Office or Administrative Assistant performs administrative work in an office. Works in a wide variety of office settings, such as a company or business, or a government office or school. Manages paper and electronic files, uses office equipment including computers, responds to phone calls and emails, routes mail and maintains calendars and schedules.
Responsible for supporting the corporate mission and vision. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and their families. Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with organizational standards and policies. Responsible for assigned programs and processes, and for providing administrative assistance and support to the WinnPrairie leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for maintaining effective resident relations. Maintains resident specific service coordination documentation. Maintains current information specific to resources, services and program options as assigned by manager. Ensures the proper display or dissemination of resources utilizing newsletters, bulletin boards, handouts, etc. Provides information by answering questions and requests. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Cross train with the Activity Assistant and Food and Beverage positions to ensure consistent service at all times. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Provide clerical support for the WinnPrairie leadership team: Executive Director, Activity Coordinator, Nurse Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Assistant as needed. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of two years' experience in a customer focused position within the past five years Computer Knowledge of Exel & Word High School diploma or equivalent Able to collaborate effectively with other community employees and managers to ensure teamwork Excellent organizational skills General understanding of assisted living licensing requirements Experience working in a Senior Living community

Sitting for extended period of time Some moderate lifting may be required Good manual dexterity to assist with maintenance if needed and use of common office equipment
