Job Description
Job Summery We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to support the daily administrative operations of our foundry. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced industrial environment, has strong organizational skills, and can provide excellent customer service while helping keep office and shipping operations running smoothly. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with management, production, customers, and shipping personnel to ensure accurate recordkeeping, effective communication, and efficient office operations. Responsibilities Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling inquiries. Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date production, shipping, and office records. Organize and file documents for easy retrieval and compliance purposes. Provide customer support by responding to questions and directing requests to the appropriate departments. Assist with shipping-related administrative tasks, including paperwork, scheduling, and communication with carriers. Proofread documents, reports, and correspondence for accuracy and professionalism. Support management and team members with various administrative projects and operational tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment. Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and OneDrive. Strong computer and clerical skills, including data entry and document management. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong communication and customer service skills. Professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with office and production teams. Previous experience in an office, administrative, manufacturing, or industrial environment is preferred. Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
