Job Description

You may be eligible for Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Summary of Position Provides secretarial and customer-related services for the Special Service Area Office. Examples of Duties and Responsibilities Perform secretarial duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Greets customers, answers phones and receives payments. Balances all payments for the daily deposit (mail, walk-ins and drop box), balance cash drawer. Serves as back up for preparing the daily deposit Customer service as needed, calls regarding billing issues and title company requests. Prepares and maintains customer changes, adjustments and filing. Serves as back up for investigating returned mail; request new address information, forwards returned bills, prepares customer change documents. Creates letter head and signage Assists customers with logging into the bill pay system Scans all paperwork into the digital system Manually enters consumptions for commercial billing. Serves as back up for mailing delinquency notices and picks up mail from the Post Office Prints manual invoices as needed Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years related experience preferred. Physical Requirements The employee may be required to walk or move up to 200 feet from primary desk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Some specific vision abilities are required by this job.
