Printing Services Operations Manager (Temporary) Lake Forest College - 4.4 Lake Forest, IL Job Details Temporary | Part-time $20.60 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication Microsoft Excel Word embeddings Administrative experience Desktop applications Managing projects Productivity software Office experience Full Job Description Lake Forest College invites applicants for the part-time, non-exempt position of Printing Services Operations Manager. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Printing Services, the Printing Services Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational and administrative support for the Printing Services department in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This position is also responsible for supporting the daily operations to fulfill printing/copying production needs, managing inventory, billing, and supporting special projects. This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, through May 31, 2027. May be extended based on performance, institutional need, and funding availability.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support the department's day-to-day activities, including work orders, billing, and office organization. Understand PrintSmith billing system and support simple billing and invoicing. Monitor the ticketing system, post invoices for work orders, and create reports as needed. Maintain appropriate files, documents, and records for the department. Maintain excellent customer relations; field information requests and/or support calls from the College community and identify and facilitate a handoff to the appropriate resource. Manage special projects and department events, including data collection, benchmarking, and survey response. Effectively carry out other duties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree and at least five years of high-level administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient with office computing hardware and software, including PCs and/or Apple computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), etc. Project and time management skills, with ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in an academic environment. Experience with procurement/purchasing processes. Experience using Printing Services software applications and/or reporting tools.
