Administrative Assistant I (Volunteer Services) Job Description Administrative Assistant is responsible for processing appointments, customer reception, provides specific project support and clerical assistance to the department. Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Answers telephone and greets visitors.
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, some afterhours special events from time to time
Requirement:
HS Diploma Best fit candidates will have experience in bookkeeping, excel and QuickBooks. Best fit candidates will also have a positive attitude and enjoys assisting others. Responsibilities Assists in preparation of reports as assigned., Demonstrates personal and professional growth by acquiring new skills and knowledge required to adapt to departmental needs., Fulfills traditional secretarial functions such as handling mail, scheduling appointments / meetings, preparing payment authorizations, and responding to telephone messages and e-mail messages. Provides clerical support for the department., Greets customers entering the department, answers telephone, and provides general assistance to serve the needs of customers. Directs those needing additional assistance to the appropriate resource., Maintains adequate supply of office supplies and materials., Maintains complete/accurate records. Initiates, retrieves and copies information upon request and within approved guideline. , Other duties as assigned. Requirements High School (Required) Compensation Estimated Compensation Range $17.79 - $27.57 Pay based on experience
