Job Description
Title:
Building Aide
Primary Objective:
Provide assistance to all staff and students to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the building with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Works well with minimal supervision
- Able to effectively and efficiently prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Friendly and professional attitude as well as discretion in matters relating to students, parents, staff members and office business matters
- Works well with others
- Computer skills necessary, including being proficient in Microsoft Office, if assigned to computer lab
- Adept at learning and using other related software and web-based programs, if assigned to computer lab

Principal, Assistant Principal
Evaluation:
Per MCSA Negotiated Agreement
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise bus riders and walkers at arrival and dismissal
Supervise students during lunch and/or recess
Assist office staff with projects when requested
Assist with general clerical, typing, and receptionist duties when requested by office staff
Provide support in the health services offices as needed
Report behavioral infractions to the administration
Fill teachers' requests for supplies as needed
Inventory office and teacher materials and supplies as needed
Maintain office and hallway bulletin boards
Provide supervision and assistance to visitors of the building when needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking
Must be able to occasionally lift, move, or push items of 30 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Includes extremes of temperature and humidity
Hazards include stairs and communicable diseases
Terms of Employment:
180 days per year (includes 4 paid holidays), 6.75 hours per day
Benefits:
Per MCSA negotiated agreement

Hourly/Non-Exempt

$16.35 to $16.35 Per Hour
