Job Description
The Extra-Help Auxiliary Services & University Housing Officer provides administrative and operational support for the Department of Auxiliary Services & University Housing at Governors State University. This position assists with housing contract administration, room assignments, cancellations, and billing processes for housing and dining programs. The role supports auxiliary services functions, including the myONECARD program, bookstore services, and dining, while also managing front office operations, responding to student and community inquiries, and assisting with departmental marketing, record-keeping, and special projects.
Assist with housing, providing administrative support for auxiliary services (my ONECARD, dining, bookstore); manage front office operations, including email inboxes, filing systems, and phone inquiries; maintain departmental records and support occupancy and budget reporting; assist with marketing materials and public-facing events, such as orientations and open houses• (occasional early evening and/or weekends based on University Open House programs are scheduled).
