This is a permanent, full-time Personal and Household Manager role supporting a private residence in Winnetka, Illinois. The principal is a busy executive who travels extensively and requires someone who operates proactively, communicates consistently, and manages all day-to-day personal and household needs without requiring direct oversight for routine matters. The role is a blend of executive personal assistant, personal assistant, and household manager. The household operates through a roster of trusted outside vendors and includes a housekeeper and a chef. The right person coordinates and oversees rather than performs manual tasks, and brings the foresight and judgment of a senior EA alongside the organizational capability of an experienced household operator.
EXECUTIVE AND PERSONAL ASSISTANT SUPPORT
Manage the principal's personal calendar, appointments, and scheduling Handle personal correspondence, phone calls, and outreach on behalf of the principal including calls to doctors, hotels, service providers, and other contacts as directed Coordinate all travel and transportation logistics including ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and last-minute itinerary changes Manage logistics for the principal's seasonal relocation to California including vehicle transport, mail forwarding, and property preparation at both residences Coordinate ongoing support for the principal's California property including managing local vendors and on-site maintenance needs; occasional travel to California required Liaise with the principal's family office, accountants, attorneys, and advisors as directed Track recurring personal and administrative deadlines including insurance renewals and vehicle registrations and flag in advanceHOUSEHOLD AND VENDOR COORDINATION
Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors and service providers Liaise with landscapers, chef, and housekeeping staff Meet contractors and workers on-site; conduct quality control on completed work and confirm before sign-off Coordinate and oversee all scheduled and emergency repairs Manage all regular maintenance schedules including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generator service Coordinate seasonal property tasks including pool opening and closing, sprinklers, and outdoor furniture through appropriate vendors Source and vet new vendors as needed; maintain and update the master vendor listERRANDS AND DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS
Bring in packages, mail, and deliveries; manage outbound mail and package returns Weekly run to PO Box Pharmacy pickups and household supply runs Grocery shopping and restocking Stock refrigerator and pantry ahead of the principal's return from travel Dry cleaning, shoe repair, and other occasional personal errandsVEHICLE COORDINATION
Coordinate weekly car washes and gas for household vehicles Coordinate vehicles to and from shop for routine service and repairs Arrange and manage vehicle transport to California as neededPET CARE
Transport dog to and from daycare, grooming, and veterinary appointments as needed Occasional dog walks Coordinate with established backup pet care providers Occasional overnights with dog during principal travel Monitor pet health and flag any concerns promptlyCOMMUNICATION STANDARDS

Prior experience in a household management, executive assistant, or personal assistant capacity supporting a private individual or executive Intent to make a long-term commitment to the role Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication Discretion and respect for privacy at all times Comfortable with pets including dogs and cats Valid driver's license and safe driving recordPay:
$125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per yearBenefits:
