Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Scheduling Coordinator / Check-Out Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-out to scheduling and financial coordination. Responsibilities Manage provider schedules with attention to detail Coordinate, integrate, represent, and oversee patient treatment scheduling, financial explanation and transportation as needed Approve and adjust patient accounts following the practices financial policy End of Day Reports Quantify referral sources, treatment diagnosed, accepted, completed, and production compared to monthly goals Protect reserved blocks and maintain schedule accuracy Confirm appointments and proactively fill openings Coordinate treatment timing and patient readiness Schedule future appointments and continuing care Handle check-out processes, including reviewing treatment and treatment plans Collect payments Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans and payments Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software Support the clinical team with day-to-day operations when/if necessary
Other Duties:
Attend team meetings Adhere to practice safety regulations and personnel policies Perform any other duties assigned to enhance your value to the team Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Proficient with computers and scheduling software Positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn Knowledge of dental terminology and Procedures Proficiency in Microsoft office/google workspace Knowledge of dental billing preferred Comfortable discussing finances with patients Strong organization and accountability Preferred (Not Required) Dental X-ray license Prior dental office/administration experience Experience with OpenDental Software Schedule Monday
  • Thursday:
    7:30 AM
  • 5:30 PM Must be available to work at least two Fridays per month: 8:00 AM
