Online Transport is seeking an organized and highly motivated Breakdown Coordinator who is looking for an opportunity for growth within a growing family owned company. As a Breakdown Coordinator, you will need to be a thorough problem solver to ensure a best-in-class experience for our drivers. This position is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., with rotating on-call duties a couple of nights per week after hours (6 P.M.-6 A.M.) Assist drivers with breakdown needs, accidents, and emergencies by either routing them to terminals or coordinating roadside repairs. Assist with load-related issues if working at a time when dispatch is not available. Arrange breakdown services by locating authorized vendors within close proximity to ensure minimum wait time, competitive pricing and quality repairs. Communicate any service disruptions and route changes due to down equipment. Identify warrantable repairs and file claims with the appropriate vendor(s) or manufacturer as needed. Maintain contact with vendor(s) during repair to ensure specific requirements are being met. Update all parties regarding progress toward completion of repairs. Coordinate payment methods to vendors. Issue PO #'s to required vendors. Facilitate vendor RO's for shops.
