Full Job Description Job Overview:
Brown & Brown General Contractors has been a self-performing general contractor in Wakarusa, Indiana since 1939. We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to support our office.Duties:
Answer phones and greet visitors. Maintain project files. Assist with preparing contracts and change orders. Help prepare bid packets. Occasionally making calls to subcontractors and suppliers to ensure bids. Set up new jobs by entering job numbers and estimates. Upload numbers to create schedule of values (SOV) for new jobs. Assist with payroll. Help with submittals and close outs. Backup support, as needed, with accounts payable and accounts receivable. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working in the construction industry (preferred). Holds an active Indiana notary public commission (preferred). Has strong phone and customer service skills. Is organized and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. Is proficient in Microsoft Office. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related coursework a plus. Pay based on experience. Full time.Pay:
