Administrative Assistant Location:
Westville, In 100% onsite A well-respected local organization is seeking a friendly, organized Administrative Assistant to support a busy office during a high-traffic season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a professional office environment. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, answer questions, schedule appointments, maintain confidential records, and provide administrative support to a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors and answer incoming phone calls with a professional, friendly attitude. Direct visitors and callers to the appropriate department or resource. Assist individuals with general questions and provide guidance to help them navigate the organization. Schedule appointments and manage calendars using Microsoft Outlook. Document concerns and complete electronic intake forms. Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, copying, filing, and data entry. Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with discretion. Provide administrative support to the office team and assist with special projects as needed. Qualifications Previous administrative, receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience. Professional, outgoing, and welcoming personality. Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook. Comfortable learning new software and office systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Work Environment Professional office setting with a front reception area. Business casual dress code (jeans on Fridays). Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule. Training provided on office procedures and internal systems.
