Job Description

The Community Corrections Department is seeking a dependable and organized Surveillance Secretary/Community Service Coordinator. This part-time position provides administrative and program support to the Surveillance Department, Case Managers, and department leadership. The position also assists with coordinating Community Service Restitution activities and helps maintain monitoring equipment. Responsibilities Conduct office contacts with offenders to support compliance with court orders and Community Corrections guidelines. Assist with Coordinating and monitoring Community Service Restitution clients, including documentation of progress and violations. Prepare reports, statistical information, and other required documentation. Assist with court appearances and reports when needed. Assist with collection of drug screens as needed. Clean, Organize, and prepare monitoring equipment so it is ready for field use. Maintain Positive, professional communication with clients, community members, and partner agencies. Assist the Executive Director and department staff with other duties as assigned. Drive throughout Randolph County as needed to perform job-related responsibilities. Required Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, computer, and report-writing skills. Dependability, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Willingness to work flexible hours when needed. Valid drivers license and an outstanding driving record. Ability and willingness to drive throughout Randolph County Ability to maintain confidential information and interact professionally with offenders, staff court personnel and the public. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of criminal justice, corrections, probation, community supervision, or related services. Relevant education, training, or work experience in criminal justice, social services, case management, administration, or a related field. Experience preparing reports, maintaining records, coordinating client services, or working with court-involved individuals. Randolph County is an equal opportunity employer
