Job Description The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support the Accounting Team. This position works closely with our Accounting Team, Operations Team, and Buying Team. Primary activities include managing incoming documents, vendor records, and vendor compliance projects. Responsibilities Assisting the Accounts Payable Team with data entry and reporting Providing exemplary service to our vendors via phone or e-mail Vendor outreach, compliance, and communications Scanning documents into an electronic database Maintaining document retention standards Assisting with various department reports/projects Set short term and long-term goals and work with Supervisor to accomplish them Contribute to a positive, healthy, friendly, and productive work environment Skills and Knowledge Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills, Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Strong math skills Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Additional education/courses in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, but not required 2-3 years accounting or administrative experience preferred, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds Location On-site in Lenexa, KS Pay Range $21.00 - $26.00
